Our story

Adventure Ohio is a family-owned business created by siblings Michelle Stobart (center) and Eddie Stobart (end). Having spent our lives on this river and property, we launched this Ohio River rental and excursion company to share our passion for water and nature by offering fun and educational adventure experiences. Many of our events also include an environmental clean up component, where we pick up trash and recyclables around the areas we explore.

We hope you will join us for a water event soon! Together, we can have a great time, appreciate nature, and contribute to its preservation.

Note: We are pictured here with our sister Beckey Stobart (far left) who often joins us for our test runs of various paddle trips we explore before offering them to the public. She’s our biggest cheerleader and one of our favorite adventure buddies.  We have another sister and a ton of young ones that often help in various ways with the business.  You'll likely meet many of them on your visit with us.
